Russell W. Stanley, 70, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his home with his loving family at his side.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ on July 31, 1948, he was the son of the late John M. Stanley and Evelyn Banta Stanley.

Russ had proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Russell was the owner of Stanley Marine and Sports Shop, Rt. 46, White Township, Belvidere, NJ. He had attended The Chapel at Warren Valley Church, Washington, NJ.

In addition to his parents, Russell was predeceased by his son, James Robert "Jim Bob" Stanley, who died in 2012.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Evelyn R. Freezer Stanley; three children, Renee Yeisley and her husband James, Russell John Stanley and his wife Leah, and Joan Stanley and her husband Danny DeCesare; four grandchildren, Ethan Yeisley, Elleahna Yeisley, Logan Stanley, and Jolene DeCesare; a brother, Robert Stanley and his wife Wendy.

Friends and Family may call Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at The Chapel at Warren Valley, Rt. 57 West, Washington, NJ under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.
