Condolences
Dear Ayres family, As usual, I am late to the news of Doris’s passing. I first met Doris when I was about 15. She came to help my mother to take care of our home in Belvidere.
Doris and I hit it off instantly. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved my childish Hijinx.
I will never forget this fine woman, nor the advice and love that she bestowed upon me during those crucial years growing up. Rest in peace Doris, the Lord certainly has a good one in you !
Hi Gary, Kelle, Karen & Kevin,
Knew Doris since we were kids in school & went to Belvidere High School together. Loved that girl! Always a friend, friendly, loving & honest! She kept me on my toes. Felt almost like a sister when we chatted together. Didn't see much of her in the past few years, but enjoyed her when we did see each other. Will always miss her! Love to you all, Carolyn Stocker Braun
There are no words to ease your pain. May your memories carry you through this difficult time. I am sorry for your loss. Cherish the moments you all have together.
Prayers to all

Doris’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

I am so sorry to hear of Doris' passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I loved that you used the word feisty to describe Doris because that is how I will always remember her, along with her big, beautiful smile.
Doris is my first cousin, her name from me is Sweetie, she always was with me growiing up in Brainards, N.J. Her death is a great lost for me and my family. I will always remember her and I miss her phone calls and talks we had together. God Bless you Sweetie, love you.
Dearest Ayres Family,
Sending our prayers and comfort only God can give at this season of your lives. Your wife and Mother was one in a million!!! She was a friend to all who knew her and a joy to be around. We will hold her in our hearts and minds forever. Belvidere is a sad place today without the laughter and joy she blessed everyone around her with. Know you are not alone we all have you in our hearts. God be your comfort. Sincerely, Ken and Nancy Hodge
