Murray H. Walsh, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital Warren Campus surrounded by family. Murray was born on September 25, 1940 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Charles R. Walsh Jr. and Eva (Abbott) Walsh. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Staib) Walsh, his beloved children, Susan Patchunka, Scott Walsh and his wife Eileen and his treasured grandchildren, Casey, Sarah, Colin and Billy. He is also survived by his adored sister Carol Walsh. He is predeceased by his brothers and sister, Richard, David and Margaret. Murray was an Engineman First Class in the US Navy submarine service on the USS Amberjack and the USS Corporal from 1957-1967. He spent his civilian career in diesel parts and large machinery sales. He lived in Bronx NY for many years before retiring to Belvidere NJ seven years ago. Murray loved hunting, fishing and boating. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. A celebration of Murrays life will be on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Country View Village Club House 189 Route 519 Belvidere, NJ 07823 at 1pm with military honors at 1:30pm. In leu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Habitat for Humanity.
