Shirley E. Beers, 84, of Harmony Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at her home.
Born on April 5, 1935 in Morrisville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael Papics and Edna Pursell Papics
Shirley was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church where she had served as a deacon.
Shirley was Co-Owner of Jay F. Beers Excavating.
Shirley's memberships included: the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, Delaware Chapter #50 and the Cedarettes.
Shirley enjoyed snowmobiling, making ceramics, and bowling in the Leisure Ladies bowling league.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Jay Beers and a daughter Jodi Piparato.
Surviving are her son, Michael J. Beers and his wife Elizabeth; a granddaughter, Elisa Beers; a sister, Ellen Kluber.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Montana Cemetery, Harmony NJ. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
