Francis E. "Gene" Buck, 81, Bangor, PA, formerly of Chest Springs, PA, died October 7, 2019 at Maple Winds Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Portage, PA.
Born August 9, 1938 in Chest Springs, PA, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Pearl E. (Little) Buck.
Gene was predeceased by his wife, Agnes Holsing Pettit on February 28, 2018; sister, Grace Becker.
Surviving are two brothers, James of Langhorne, PA and Leonard (Patricia Hite) of Patton, PA; a sister, Marie (James) Fierro of Placerville, CA; several nieces and nephews.
Gene was a 1957 graduate of Girard College, Philadelphia. He was a US Navy Veteran and member of Bangor VFW.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ, under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Wells officiating.
