Obituary of Edna K. Palombo

Edna K. Palombo, 90, formerly of Country View Village, Belvidere, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Forest Manor Nursing Home, Hope, NJ. Born on June 28, 1929 in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late August Fellrath and Florence Durand Fellrath. Edna was a nurse at the Mountainside Hospital, Montclair, NJ for many years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Patrick R. C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. Edna was an active member of the Evening Star Quilters. In addition to her parents, Edna was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John M. Palombo, who died May 14, 2003. Surviving are four children, Kathryn Myer of Titusville, FL, Suzanne Connors of Blairstown, NJ, Eugene Palombo of South Burlington, VT, and John M. Palombo, Jr. of Wilmington, DE; nine grandchildren, Nathan Palombo, Emily Grippin, Hannah, Owen and Sean Palombo, Amanda Glock, Kevin Connors, Alexandra and Corinne Palombo; four great-grandchildren, Eliza and Alice Grippin, Mason and Jackson Glock. Calling hours will be held from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Monday, December 2, 2019 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at St. Patrick R. C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
