Obituary of Shirley A. Oliver

Shirley A. Oliver, 85, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her home with her loving family at her side,

Born and raised in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Esther M. Frindt Corrigan. Shirley was a resident of Chester, NJ from 1963 to 2010.

Shirley was the church secretary for the First Congregational Church of Chester for many years before retiring.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Art East and Anne Marie and Joseph Friezinger.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 66 years, Frederick E. Oliver; a son, Frederick E. Jr., daughters, Patricia Morehead and her husband Mark and Catherine Oliver; nieces, Diane East, Annette Bruno and her husband Chuck; nephews, Michael East and his wife Krista, and Robert Strohl; several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Buttzville United Methodist Church, 4 Green Pond Road, Buttzville, NJ. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
