Obituary of John P. Weaver, Jr.

John P. Weaver, Jr., 78, of Washington, NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born on December 18, 1941 in White township, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Marie Matthews Weaver. John was a master carpenter for the Carpenter's Union Local 399, Edison, NJ, and self-employed. John was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of the N.R.A. and the Buckhorn Springs Hunting Club. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Shirley R. Black Weaver; two sons, John L. Weaver and his wife JoAnn of Oxford, NJ, Mark S. Weaver and his wife Denise of Bangor, PA; six grandsons, John C. Weaver and Mark J.S. Weaver of Washington, NJ, Patrick L. Weaver of Belvidere, NJ, Brian C.L. Weaver, Justin L. Weaver and Jamie L. Weaver of Bangor, PA; six granddaughters, Jade M. Weaver of Washington, NJ, Stella M. Howey and Jessica M. Weaver of Bangor, PA, Casandra, Michelle and Nicole Cameron of Washington, NJ; six great-grandsons, Jace L. and Jathen L. Hunter of Oakland, NJ, Jaxon R. Lieberman and Renly J. Allen of Bangor, PA, Weston J.T. Weaver of Washington, NJ; four great-granddaughters, Makala L. Weaver, Ryleigh M. Lehman, Charlette S. Weaver and Brooklyn R. Weaver of Washington, NJ; two brothers, Thomas Weaver of Washington, NJ and Harris Weaver of Phillipsburg, NJ; one sister, Roxanne Philhower of Sarasota, FL; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 24, 2020 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Burial will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to the time of service.
