Condolences
Mr. D was a great man. He was my very first baseball coach in the Carteret little league around 1969. A caring and compassionate man who made playing fun. I was lucky to accidentally run into him many years later (around 2002) at the Washington Dunkin Donuts. It was nice catching up with he and his wife. Rest In Peace Mr D.

Mrs. De Angelo, I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed getting to know you and Mr. De Angelo this past year while my mom and I worked on my grandmas house. Talking with both of you was a highlight of a rough time. I am so, so sorry for your loss <3

On behalf of the members of the Carl D. Archer Post 528 of White Twp. we send our prayers and sympathies to the DeAngelo family. Sonny has been a member of our Post for 19 years and was an active member in his earlier years with us; helping at the Farmers Fair with our children's events and being a member of the color guard - once a Marine always a Marine. Semper Fi to our fellow veteran and friend. We will miss you as you are now enrolled in that Great Spirit army, whose footfalls cause no sound, but in the memory of mankind, their souls go marching on, sustained by the pride of service in time of war.
For God and Country, Milly Rice, Post 528 Adjutant
