Marie Gallo, 90, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2020.
Born to the late Dominic and Maria (nee Fortuno) Rubbo, Marie was born and raised in Staten Island, NY until she moved to Belvidere, NJ three years ago.
Marie enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved to cook and enjoyed "lunching" with her friends. She was a big Patriot and a huge NY Mets fan.
In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Salvatore and a sister, Faye.
Mrs. Gallo is survived by her children, Maria Cicatello & husband Louis of Staten Island, NY, James Gallo & wife Mary of Lincroft, NJ, Salvatore Gallo of Staten Island, NY, and Diane Ficarra & husband Augustine of Belvidere, NJ; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Nicola; a sister, Yolanda.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at MacFadden Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 19, 2020 at St. Patrick RC Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in The Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made in Marie's name to the American Heart Association.
