Obituary of Caroline Carbone

Caroline Carbone, 98 years old, of Liberty Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the Clover Rest Home, Columbia, NJ.

Born on October 5, 1922 in Hoboken, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Caroline Bucco Tringali.

In her younger years, Caroline was a seamstress in the Bayonne Garment District.

Family was most important to Caroline.

In addition to her parents, Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Louis, who died in 2011.

Surviving are two daughters, Michele Thorry (Gerry) and Linda Carbone; four grandchildren, Mellissa Carbone Moser (Peter), Megan E. Thorry (Eugene), Andrew Thorry (Jeramie), and Matthew Thorry (Ozzy); two great-grandchildren, August Moser and Sylvia Rose Thorry Bloom.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Rt. 46, Great Meadows, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Caroline’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959.
