Obituary of William Earl Carner, Jr.

William Earl Carner, Jr., 71, of White Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday November 30, 2020 at St. Luke’s Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born on January 8, 1949 in Glen Ridge, NJ, he was the son of the late William Earl Carner and Isabelle Susan Zsiray Carner.

William had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the American Legion post 131, Belvidere, NJ.

Bill was an investigator for PCFA, Oxford, NJ and previously a criminal investigator at Picatinny Arsenal.

William was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township, PA where he had served as an Elder.

Bill was an avid fly fisherman and also enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Lee Zawislak Carner; two brothers, Robert Carner of Australia and Gregory Carner of Florida; two nephews.

A Graveside Service with military honors will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.
