Obituary of Linda S. Fregans

Linda S. Fregans, 71, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 20, 1949 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine Messina.

Linda had worked for the Warren County Department of Human and Social Services for many years before retiring.

A parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Linda had served as a CCD Teacher for over 20 years.

Linda also served for many years as the president of the Belvidere Midget Football Team and as treasurer of the Belvidere Midget Wrestling Team.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel J. Fregans; daughter, Lisa Fregans of Belvidere, NJ; sons, Chris of Norwich, NY and Jason and his wife Bethany of Pen Argyl, PA; four siblings, Julia of Colonia, NJ, Tom and his wife Pat of Sparks, NV, George and his wife Elaine of Hillsborough, NJ, and Michael and his wife Joyce of Middletown, NJ; three beautiful granddaughters, Anna, Ella and Tierney; several nephews and one niece.

Linda was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Linda’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959 .
