Mary M. (Cantrel) VanHorn, 84, of Abington Manor, Easton, PA, formerly of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Born on December 22, 1936 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Genevieve Sullivan Cantrel.

She was a graduate of St’s Phillip and James High School and had attended Churchman’s Business School. She was the secretary and bookkeeper of Harmony Sand & Gravel before retiring.

Mary was the wife of the late Amos Albert VanHorn who died in 1980. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers John, James and Gerald Cantrel.

Mary will be dearly missed. Surviving are four sons, Timothy, Sean, Eric, and Martin; sister, Gene Cantrel; brother, Joseph Cantrel; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 21 nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, August 27, 2021 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ.  Interment will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at MacFadden Funeral Home.
