Obituary of Blanche E. Adelman

Blanche Elizabeth Adelman passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022 after a long illness at the age of 92.

Blanche was born in Jersey City, NJ on May 22, 1929.  She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Thomas Adams; her first husband, Frederick Wordelmann; her step-daughter, Diane Adelman; step-son, Frederick Adelman; daughter-in-law, Michele Wordelmann.

Blanche is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Frederick Adelman; her children, Nancy Lucchesi and her husband Paul; Frederick Wordelmann; Janet Brummell; cherished grandchildren, Samantha Brummell and her husband Eric Gargiulo, Rachel Brummell and her partner Harlan Collins, Kimberly Lucchesi and her fiance Erik Evans, and grandson Frederick Wordelmann; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Blanche grew up in Jersey City before moving to North Bergen and then resided for many years in Towaco. She later moved to Belvidere where she enjoyed her retirement at Brookfield Estates with her many friends and neighbors, playing cards, bingo and celebrating birthdays.

Blanche enjoyed her travelling with her husband Fred Adelman on trips to Alaska, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and other cruise line destinations.

A special thank you to her many caregivers, doctors, and nurses.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Blanche's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 350 Sparta Avenue, Sparta, NJ  07871.
