Obituary of Elva Rola Yonocsko

Elva R. Yonocsko, 97, a lifelong resident of Belvidere, died Thursday June 9, 2022.

Born on March 5, 1925 in Belvidere, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Vandy and Clara Smith Howell.

Elva’s husband, Frank J. Yonocsko died May 3, 1996 and her only son Frank J. Jr. died Dec. 21, 1986.

She worked over 30 years for Owens-Brockway, Belvidere, N.J.  Elva was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary and active with the senior citizens group.

Elva is survived by her sister Betty Mackes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. All who will miss her dedication to family.

Elva's brothers Vandy, William, Richard, Walt, Earl, George and sisters Mary, Gladys, Lavina and Blanche all predeceased her.

Graveside Services will be held  11:00 AM, Tuesday June 14, 2022  at the St. Patrick Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
