Obituary of Patricia Joan Foss

Patricia Joan Foss, 69, of Oxford, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at St. Luke’s Warren Hospital.

Born on May 12, 1953 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Patricia was the daughter of the late Luther E. Foss and Patricia Race Foss.

Patricia, known as Joanie to many family members, was a graduate of Moravian College. Joanie worked at Ingersoll Rand for several years before going to M & M Mars from which she retired.

She was an animal lover, true nature lover, and an avid photographer. Joanie cared for stray animals, sharing her home with several. She was often seen out feeding wild turkeys that came to her yard. The  main focus of her photography were her beloved pets and many aspects of nature. Patricia would share these pictures on greeting cards and calendars.

Patricia also had a love for music, playing the piano and organ.  She had been the organist in her church for several years.

In addition to her beloved pets, Patricia is survived by loving cousins and childhood neighbors who are like family.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
