Obituary of Marge Buchman Silverthorn

Marjorie (Buchman) Silverthorn, 88, of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Warren Haven Nursing Home.

Born on October 12, 1933 in White Township, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Viola Reese Buchman.

Marjorie had worked for the Bates Company, Hackettstown, NJ for many years before retiring.

She was a member of the Young at Heart Club, Oxford, NJ. Marjorie enjoyed most of all playing cards and games with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Silverthorn; a brother, Raymond; two sisters, Joyce Buchman and Betty Jane Smith.

Surviving is her brother, Claude A. Buchman and his wife Nancy.

Per Marjorie’s request, there are no services.
