Obituary of Barbara J. Hubscher

Barbara J. Hubscher, 86, of Belvidere NJ, passed away on September 29, 2022. Born in Irvington NJ,
lived in Raritan Boro for 30 years before retiring to Florida, returning to be close to family.
 

Devoted wife to her husband, the late William (2002) and loving sister of the late Donald Blessing
(2013), she is survived by daughters, Cynthia Maiullo and husband Robert Maiullo of Raritan, NJ, Bonnie
Mahar and husband Ernest J. Mahar of East Stroudsburg, PA.
 

Barbara was an avid crafter and bingo player, and was involved in other activities as well, such as
bowling, bocci ball, other community events and the support and nurturing of her grandchild, Nicole
Marie Dennis (nee Mahar), married to Aiden Dennis who is currently serving in the U.S. Space Force in
King George, Virginia. She always referred to Barbara as “Omi.”
 

Funeral Service will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.                                                                                                                           

Burial will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or any charity of your choice.
