Obituary of Jayne Ann Walsh

Jayne Ann Walsh, 74, of Harleysville, PA, passed away peacefully at Lansdale Hospital on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Born on September 20, 1948 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter Edgar and Evelyn Ann Jenkins Walsh.

Jayne was a graduate of Glassboro State (now Rowan University), where she majored in Education. Jayne was passionate about literature and reading. Jayne was a volunteer at the North Wales Public Library.

She was a woman of strong faith and a parishioner of St. Stanislaus in Lansdale.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a dear friend.

Surviving are her daughter Melissa Glidden and her husband Michael Kelley of Hatfield, PA ; her son Matthew P. Glidden and his wife Meghan of Kirkland, WA; two grandsons, Benjamin and Alexander Glidden; a nephew, John-David Kowchak and his wife Stephanie of Glenolden, PA; a great-nephew Logan Xavier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment of her cremated remains will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
