Obituary of Angeline A. Sadlon

Loving Mother, Baker and Devoted Choir Member

Angeline Antonette (Sirianni) Sadlon, 93, of Belvidere NJ passed away peacefully
surrounded by family on Thursday, December 8 th 2022. 

Angie was born in Port Murray, New Jersey on March 22, 1929. She was the daughter
of Ralph and Josephine (Simonetti) Sirianni. She was the loving wife of Samuel Sadlon
of Oxford, New Jersey for 47 years until his death in December 1999. 

Angie graduated from Washington High School in 1947. She worked many years as a
seamstress for various sportswear companies and later worked many years for the
election board and in the cafeteria of Oxford Central School. Whatever the job she took
on, soon saw her in charge.

She joined the Oxford Second Presbyterian Church of Oxford, New Jersey on January
17, 1954 and was an active member for 67 years. She was involved in the Ladies
Aide Society for more than 55 years. She was an elder and active in the choir. She had
a beautiful voice and sang many duets and solos. She worked at many fish, ham and
roast beef suppers sponsored by the church.

She was a prolific baker and loved providing goodies for friends and relatives. Her
hobbies were sewing, cross-stitch, ceramics, bowling and cruising yard sales.

Surviving are her three children, Sandra Sadlon Hrin (William) of Lewes, Delaware,
Samuel Sadlon Jr. of Belvidere, and Mary Sadlon Boyer of Lewes, Delaware. She has
three grandchildren, Adam Sadlon, Shanay Lee (Sadlon) Healy, and Hillary Jean
(Sadlon) Reed, all of Belvidere and two great-grandchildren Hunter and Sadie Healy.
She is also survived by her best friend of 70 years, Veronica Szot of Oxford. She is
predeceased by her sister, Rose Hendershot, and brothers Frank, Sal and Fred
Sirianni. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at
MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, New Jersey, (908) 475-
2210, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Hillside
Cemetery, Oxford NJ immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be given to Westminster
Presbyterian Church, 301 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach DE 19971.
