Obituary of Grace I. Hopkins

Grace I. Hopkins, 86, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 02, 2013 at the Care Center of Brakeley Park, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Born on March 3, 1927 in Brainards, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Myrtle Thatcher Castner. Grace was the District Court Clerk for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Special Civil Part, in Belvidere, NJ until retiring in 1991. She was the wife of the late Charles (Hoppy) Hopkins who died December 18, 2001. Grace was also predeceased by two sisters, Verna Dowling and Betty Matthenius. Grace was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church, the Good Will Fire Co. Auxiliary where she served as president, the Delaware Chapter #50 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Phillipsburg, NJ and the Mountain Manor Golf Club, Marshalls Creek, PA. Surviving are her daughter, Joy Stout and her husband Paul; a grandson, Christopher and his wife Sarah; two great-granddaughters, Caroline and Katie Stout; a niece; a nephew; several cousins.
