Obituary of Elizabeth Mary Wolosewicz

Elizabeth (Betty) Wolosewicz, age 91, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Betty is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael Charnak (Donna) of Hanover, PA, Diane Charnak of Belvidere, NJ, and Linda Yashur (Rob) of Bethlehem, PA. She was adored by her grandchildren, Heather Streib (Eric) of Westminster, MD, Danielle Caple (Roger) of York, PA, Justin Charnak (Danielle) of Hanover, PA, and Kandie Yashur (Ray) of Washington, NJ. She was blessed with nine great-grandchildren, Lexy, Parker, Ty, Faith, Matthew, Emma, Anthony, Justin, Jr., and Lincoln.

Born in Pottsville, Pa, she was one of eight children. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Arthur Stock and Helen (Quinn) Stock, as well as her siblings, Jack, Joe, Bob, Leo, Anna, Alberta, and Theresa.

Betty was a former employee of Captive Plastics in Piscataway, NJ for many years as a sorter in the warehouse and then prior to retirement as a switchboard operator.

She loved traveling, going to the casinos, watching her game shows and word search puzzles.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing memories and traditions with them. Betty had a witty sense of humor and loved to crack jokes with everyone.  She was a devoted Catholic and found comfort and peace in her prayers and attending Mass.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends more than words can express.

We love her a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday June 7, 2023 at MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.
