My favorite memories of Helen go back to our high school days, when Helen, Christine Nilsson and I walked the 3 or 4 blocks together to school. Helen had a great way to remember science lessons. She taught us on the way to school to chant "intake - compression - power - exhaust", over and over. By the time we reached school we could answer the test question without any problem! Another time we strutted and sang to "We're OFF to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz" - all while locking elbows and swinging our legs the way the Oz characters did in the movie.
Rest in peace Helen - you brought happiness to my life!
