George L. Werlau 83, of White Twp., NJ passed away peacefully Thursday, March 6, 2014 at home. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Louis and Helen Werlau. George lived in Little Falls, NJ before moving to Belvidere, NJ. George was an Instrument Maker for the Singer Kearfott Company in West Paterson, NJ for years before retiring. He loved time with his family and friends. His favorite hangout was Uncle Buck's in Belvidere, NJ. He also loved fishing and boating. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. George was a member of the VFW of Belvidere, NJ and Harmonica Club of Hackensack, NJ. George is predeceased by his wife the late Kay L. Werlau and a sister Marcella Moore. Surviving are a daughter, Donna L. Santee of Belvidere, NJ, two sons Glenn D. of Virginia and Alan L. of Chatham, NJ, three brothers Robert and Dennis Werlau and David Cummings, and a sister Darlene Sheldon.
