Condolences
Was aware Uncle Earl had passed away a number of years ago. He was special to me. If any other family wish to stay in contact, feel free to contact my email address. Mike passed away last year so I am sure they are all rejoicing in heaven today. Love to all. Sue
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather.
As a child I could always count on Earl to give a friendly wave as he drove by on his backhoe or dumptruck. I can still see the concentration in his eyes as he drove the American LaFrance to a fire call. He was always ready to conquer the task at hand. I can picture him with his hat, giving his head a scratch. Earl will always be lovingly remembered for his friendly hello, wave,
honesty and service to all that had the honor of crossing his path. When I think of Belvidere, I think of many names. I remember Shorty,Speedy,Al,Homer,Horace and Earl. We were all blessed to have been able to share in a small part of each journey. They taught us to love our families, friends, town and country.
Honesty, humble, kindness, respect, service and dedication was a part of their daily lives. We now have big shoes to fill, but we were taught by the best!
May the memories of those wonderful years and the extended family and friends that were blessed to have known Earl help lift up your heavy hearts.
A Job Well Done Earl,Rest In Peace Our Friend and Brother Fireman.
Sincerely, Jim and Amy Barrick
Times may change as we with time, but not in the way of brother fireman.
Pap was always a kind person. If his family needed new items he gave them it before he got a thing. I remember just last September or October we had popcorn. We both had a bowl full, but when we both finished he asked me first if wanted the rest of it.
Then, it was November 13, My mother, father, and I just finished dinner. My uncle called. He said Pap was okay, but he was in the hospital. About a month later he was moved to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital down in New Brunswick. Then about 4 months later, on Easter Sunday he died with my dad, 2 uncles, and my grandmother next to him. All of us will miss him much, but we know he is in a better place. Thank-you, nurses, and doctors who kept Pap alive, all this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Hoyt Family.
God Bless

Earl was a very special man. I will always remember him as hard working and very dedicated to his family and community. He symbolized what "old time" Belvidere was about. His unselfish service to the church and the fire company will always be a shining example for others. Earl will be missed.
Please accept out condolences. Our prayers and thoughts will be with all of you.
Sincere condolences to all the members of the Hoyt family.

A truly wonderful man has reached the end of his earthly life. Earl inspired and was viewed with honest admiration by all who knew him.
My deepest condolences.
Our prayers are with you and your loved ones.
We thought so much of Earl. He was very special, always ready to help anyone. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was so active in his community and church. He was taken Home on Easter, the most important day for Christians, to his Master whom he served so well. Y'all are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless always and love to all,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Gert and family. We will always remember Earl in our thoughts out side mowing the lawn at the firehouse with his straw hat on. Remembering all the good times we had at the Belvidere High School Alumni Association Reunions and our hard work before hand. It wasn't work - it was fun. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
