Dear Teresa, it is with the saddest of hearts that I awakened this morning to read of the passing of your wonderful mother. I have known your parents all of my life and have also spent many happy times with them as well. Arlene was indeed a fine seamstress and was the first person my own mother sought out when we needed a brand new product sewn into my trousers after one of my many leg operations.
(that product was called Velcro and your mom made it possible for me to
wear long pants.)
Your mom was a fine person and many more memories will be recounted in her honor for many years to come.
