Obituary of Arlene DeMont

Arlene DeMont, 75, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ, with her loved ones at her side. Mrs. DeMont was an account supervisor for the State of New Jersey at Hagedorn Developmental Center, Glen Gardner, NJ. Born in White Township, NJ on May 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Harry B. and S. Beatrice Williamson Hornbaker. Mrs. DeMont was a 1951 graduate of Belvidere High School. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed gardening, and was an accomplished seamstress. Mrs. DeMont was a life member of the Mt. Lake Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a social member of the American Legion Post 131, Belvidere for over 50 years. Her husband, William F. DeMont had died on February 17, 1975. She was predeceased by a sister, Lois Call. Surviving are her daughter, Teresa A. DeMont of Belvidere, NJ; a sister, Joyce Hildebrant; a brother, Charles Hornbaker both of White Township, NJ; three nieces, Sharon Gonsalves, Cindy Fritts, and Wendy Riley; six nephews, Terry Call, Kevin Call, Robert Hildebrant Jr., Bruce Hildebrant, Brad Hildebrant and Bryan Hildebrant.
