Eva and Family, Our big regret was that we didn't get to know Charley sooner. To know him was to love him and we truly did love him. We are going to miss him, but rest assured that he is still bringing joy and love to all around him in his new life. Rest in peace dear friend.
Our deepest condolences and hopes of peace, tranquility and understanding for all of you during this difficult time.

Dear Eva and family,
Please accept our condolences for your loss. Mr. Charles Detore had a great impact on us for the few times that we had a chance to be exposed to him. His relentless passion for life and fantastic attitude always inspired us and will never be forgotten. His son Daniel Detore is our close friend and business partner and we see his father (Charles) through him with Dan's super positive and uplifting for others attitude.
We are deeply sorry for your loss, but we know that Mr. Detore has just graduated to "the class of heaven" where he belongs now.
God bless you, love.
I am so very sorry that I cannot make it tonight. I have such fond memories of Charlie and Eva coming to visit my grandparents, (Rocco and Christine Detore). Charlie and I would spend hours laughing to the point of tears when chatting about my elementary school classmate, Peter Frade. The stories that we would make up still make me laugh. He was the sweetest and most genuine man. Always quick to smile. He was warm and loving, and I will always remember him... My thoughts and prayers are with sweet, Eva and his children, grandchildren and extended family.
Love to you all.
Kimmie xo
Our deepest sympathies to Christopher and the entire Detore family from the office of Assemblywoman Marcia Karrow.
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
With Love
Aisha Duncan

I believe He did have a good life espectially with a doughter like you. I am currently in Thailand and will not return until March 19th at some time after that I would to be able to contact you if it is okay with you.

To Eva and family,
We don't know if you remember us, but we used to visit you in Montclair and made a nice friendship with you both, thanks to that "Oakman" sign on the curb and deciding to stop by and look at all that beautiful oak furniture. We were deeply touched by Charlie's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy on his loss and may God give you strength at this difficult time.

Much love,

Eva, Denise,Deb and Dan.
First, let me express my sympathy to ALL of you. Dad was a MAJOR inspiration to all of us growing up. Funny, but as passed your old house on claremont just last week, I thought of the detores'and wondered how you were and then I see the obit the following week.
Charlie had made a wonder lasting impression on me, one that bring a smile to my face. He gave us life lessons without even knowing or trying, just by being charlie.
I hope the Lord was gentle in calling him home.
My prayers are with you all.
With Love,
sue guarino
