Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of grief. We will always remember Ron & you, Delores, from our meetings and get togethers at the Boat Club. We will also remember the Sequence Games at Jan & Bernies. God Bless you at this time.
Mr. Ivins was a true inspiration to me. Made an impression on me that has lasted a lifetime. His gift was to teach and he did it well. God Bless his family during this time.
Please accept my sincere condolences.
Sorry to hear of Rons passing. He was a great man who could always make us laugh when times tough at NW.He will be missed.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I can not tell you the difference Ron made in my early days at NWR. His ability to make us see the humor in our daily strife, his willingness to help out anyone and everyone, he was truly a very special individual. There were many times his "lunch time" wisdom carried me through a very difficult day and he was never one to be caught up in the politics of the "good ole boys", truly a man who stood on his own. I know he will be greatly missed, but for his grandchildren, they should know that their grandfather lives on in them and in the hundreds of students he taught over the years. His legacy is a strong one for certain and he is remembered fondly because he was a wonderful man. My sincerest hopes that your memories of him will help ease your pain.

They say there are always a few special people in your life that make a difference and Mr. Ivins was one of those people. As a teacher he will always hold a special place in my heart. He guided me toward my decision to join the Navy when I was a senior at Blairstown HS. I want to thank him for taking the time to share his experience in the Navy and for being a great teacher. It was the best decision I could have made. Go Navy! Milly
I did not know him, but I know that the people that did will miss him dearly. I'm sorry for your loss.
