Obituary of Bernard T Hart

Bernard T. Hart. 73, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away on January 7, 2017 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ. Born on August 19, 1943 in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Robert T. and Marcella (Carr) Hart. Bernie attended Liberty High School, Bethlehem, PA and continued his education at Moravian College to become a science teacher. He shared his passion for wrestling by coaching generations of athletes. He was a beloved educator in the Belvidere School district for over 30 years where he met and married hs late wife, Tacey, in 1971. Bernie was always surrounded by family and friends. He was a dedicated father and loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He valued golfing road trips with lifelong friends, cheering on his grandchildren in their sporting events and academic achievements, catching up on local news and wrestling, and enjoying good food with the people he loved. In addition to his parents, Bernie was predeceased by his wife, Tacey; a sister, Mary Cabrera; a brother, John Hart. Bernie will be remembered by his three daughters, Elizabeth and husband Wayne, Amy and husband Camilo, and Gretchen and husband, Marc; his son, David and wife Amy; ten grandchildren, Benjamin, Adam, Ethan, Tacey, Noah, Jacob, Devon, Sarah, Finnegan, and Lucy; great- grandson Sebastian; sister, Marcella Bitler; brother, Robert Hart; as well as many nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere, 224 Mansfield Street, Belvidere, NJ.
