My name is Steven Christian Amendola. John Rawlins Troop is my great great grandfather which I think makes Charles a second cousin if not first with some removal. My mother's dearly remembered grandmother was Gertrude Florence Troop. I have long had his name on my family tree though I didn't know he was alive. I am sad to discover he was by his death as I would very much like to have met him, and living in Monmouth County I would surely have made the trip.
