So very sorry for your loss.

It saddens me to hear of the passing of such an influential soul. "Mr. Vliet" was my 7th grade teacher at Hope Elementary School in 1971 who was one of those people of character that by presence alone taught by example. Reflecting on my life in the moment allows me to realize the impact you shared, Mr Vliet.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I have fond memories of working with him at Hope School. My sincere condolences to his family.

I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out".
