We just want to cherish all the good memories we have of George. The photo of George with his obituary says it all; his fun loving smirk as if he is about to break out with a new story or joke. He was a hard working guy, but he always found time to share his love for life with his friends and family. He was the greeter of the neighborhood and treated us all as his family, with love, kindness and friendship.
He was also forgiving, such as when our son, Sean, was practicing golf in our yard and lofted a ball onto George's truck ... his NEW truck. George probably said a few words under his breath, but didn't appear angry; just kind of shrugged it off.
The parties, the parades, etc., etc.; too many fond memories to share here. We love you, George, ... and don't forget to keep being the caretaker of "Jack's Bottle." Hopefully, we will share it once again.
