Obituary of Mary Antoinette Tino
Mary Antoinette Tino, 95, of the Country View Village section of White Township, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her home.
Born on May 16, 1926 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette Rigato Giordano.
Mary was an active parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ where she served as a Lecturer and Eucharistic Minister. She was also active with the Altar Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary.
Mary was an avid bowler, bowling in many leagues. She enjoyed baking and cooking.
The most important to Mary was her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Tino, who died on August 16, 1987; three brothers and a sister.
Surviving are her children, Linda Burgher, Joan Cohen and her husband Henry, and Joseph Tino and his wife Regina; seven grandchildren, Michele, Michael, Jeffrey, Larry, Michael Cohen, Jessica and Kristin; eight great-grandchildren, Gemma, Joseph, Tobias, Savannah, Madison, Jaxon, Nora, and Nash; a sister, Helen Buczek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Burial will be private at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ. Friends may call from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Mary’s memory to St. Patrick R.C. Church.
