Ellen and Family, we are deeply saddened and offer our most sincere condolences and sympathy for your loss. We were blessed to have been near neighbors for forty years dwelling in a very special place.... the land stretching from Summerfield to Montana! Frank has always been the chief steward of our mountain for all neighbors and friends. One of the daily pleasures of our place has been receiving a pleasant wave and greeting from Frank thousands of times, while passing on his tractor or truck. This will surely be a grevious loss among all neighbors who knew him well. During the early morning aftermath of Hurricane Sandy; I met Frank driving around to check on all neighbors around the farm just making sure everyone was okay. These are the simple acts of kindness and thought that serve as an example to all of us. In a way, Frank shared the experience of his farm with neighbors. We were fortunate to raise our children near the farm. My best memory and recollection had been seeing Ellen or Jill riding on the tractor with Frank while cutting the fields. Surely these moments were appreciated by many family members. Frank will be missed and remain in our memories.
